We enjoyed our last night out together before hubby deploys. And where did we go?! Dun-dun-dun-dahh...the little Italian place we like to go to and that I feel like I ALWAYS talk about, Dolce Vita. Luckily it's right around the corner from us, so we walk there nine times out of ten, that way we have reason to order dessert and walk it off on the way back.
I could babble on and on about this hidden gem, but I never actually take photos of this place to show family back home. SO, I decided to take some pictures while devouring yummy goodness, don't mind the iPhone quality either.
I tend to wallow once I enter this quaint little eatery and get lost in all the details of this place. Dolce Vita is owned by a husband and wife and they have one server who is always present, so about a 3 person staff. They only take reservations and they cook with fresh produce. The husband and wife are both from Italy, so we're eating the real deal Italian stuff right in our own town. The husband is the chef where he MAKES his own pasta! There's a dinner rush that begins around 6pm, which consists of Americans, and the other dinner rush begins around 8pm, which consists of the Spanish. Makes me giggle. We always order their Bruschetta to begin and for dinner I ordered my usual Pesto Pasta and hubby gets his Spinach and Goat Cheese Ravioli. Then to top it off {not pictured} we usually get the Crème Brûlée and Tiramisu. It was devoured by the time I thought of taking a picture. We walked back home and took in the last moments we had together as a family.
