Amsterdam Part 3: The Canals

We grabbed some sandwiches togo and hit the road on foot. We explored most of the day the canal rings of Amsterdam. Almost every street we went down was filled with water, boats and the homes that rest on the canals. The streets were full of charm and beauty, simplicity and grandeur, something that I will never experience again. This town had its own characteristics that no city can ever replicate. I enjoyed this day especially. We also strolled down to the floating flower market where they sell oodles and oodles of tulip bulbs. The market is placed on one of the canals, hence the floating flower mart.
