When I married that man I knew what I was getting myself into. Our journey together as a family in the military can be such a thrill, however, in the excitement of it all there are upsets. And when I say upsets, I mean the ones where it is bittersweet, when you are looking forward at all the incredible memories to be made, but feel that you are missing out on other memories back home. And THAT is just it, hubby has been told that we will be in Spain for another year and will not be leaving early. As pleased as I am to be able to stay here longer, I was saddened. A gloom came over me knowing that our little girl will be so grown when we make our way back to the states. All her fans back home love her so and she has no idea. I longed for her to see them soon so that she can put names to those lovely faces. I know the adventure is just beginning for her and that she will ALWAYS remember her fans back home. We show pictures of her fans to her. We are so grateful for technology that we are able to hear and see people through live video stream. How amazing is that?! I know duty stations are for seasons, they are not permanent and I know we will make it back to the states within time. I look onward with enthusiasm to see what the Lord has prepared for us here and so obliged that we have this opportunity of a lifetime!
Cheers to her fans and future memories!
