Recipe...
I took some semi-sweet chocolate chips and melted them. Melting instructions for the microwave are pretty easy. I normally place the chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl and let it melt for 30 seconds. I take them out give them a quick stir, place them back into the microwave and melt them for 15 seconds, take them out give them a quick stir, place them back in for another 15 seconds, repeat until your chocolate chips are completely melted! Dip the strawberries or you can paint them with a spoon or brush. Then place them on wax paper and place in the fridge. Done and done!
LOVE.
For me, love can be effortless and pretty and then love can be arduous and enervating. The beautiful thing I have learned is that God IS Love. He teaches me how to love on the days I can't. He shows me how to love on the people who can't love back. He loved me from the very beginning of my existence. He has been working on my heart. Day in and day out He loves me. Even when I turn away from Him. Question Him. Sin against Him. Hurt Him. Doubt Him.
He still loves me.
Valentine's Day is a day to go out of your way for that certain someone, to show that you love them. But God does not have one day out of the year like that for me,
it is everyday.
Everyday I am His Valentine.
Everyday He shows me that He cares for me and loves me. And out of all the people in the world, the one speck that I am on this massive planet with billions of people in it, He knows my deepest thoughts, worries, anxious feelings, doubts, and concerns.
Truly my heart.
He knows.
