Memorial Day Weekend

This Memorial weekend began as the normal Friday family night accompanied by pizza and a movie. It was nice knowing we had an extra "play" day because of the holiday. On Saturday we went to Feria, which is a fair that is held in a different city each weekend in Spain. Audrey was fascinated by the horses, as was I...always, saw all the ladies in their flamenco dresses, stuffed our faces with churros and chocolate, listened to fairly loud music playing throughout the fair and walked around with pride knowing that this years theme was America! After we hit that up, we came back home and relaxed the rest of the day.

On Sunday, we went for a round of golf, well hubby did and Miss A and I came along for the ride. It was already her second time on the course and we were able to get her golf clap down this time. Afterwards, we came home, watched church online, took some naps, he went on a run, then some BBQing happened and some salsa making.

The following day we attempted to head to the beach in which it turned out to be an epic fail. It looked windy, but not windy enough to hold us back from going. Once we plopped ourselves on our beach towels it was a no go. My legs began to form goosebumps and all the sudden sand wasn't our friend. We turned back around to head home. I made some guacamole to heal our sad souls, downed a bag of chips and consumed some ribs.

It was a good weekend altogether.
